The 7-10 minute oral presentation of each student’s My Freshman Experience (100 points)

For your presentation, choose to talk with the class about something you found meaningful in your My Freshman Experience project, something that is your passion, something that makes you feel confident.

Do not try to cover your entire MFE.

Speak on a topic that you can make meaningful to the class or that will be in some way helpful to the class or that will teach the class something.

Be creative. Geniuses are allowed to break rules, and the rest of us probably ought to try it once in a while also.

Rubric for 7-10 minute oral presentation:

-         using voice, face, and body effectively, with meaningful variety in all aspects of vocal and visual presentation

-         avoiding physical or vocal mannerisms

-         using concrete supporting materials for all ideas

-         using visual aids or activities involving the class if these are appropriate to the topic

-         using clear organization, with an effective introduction, body, and conclusion

Total points for the 7-10 minute oral presentation: 100
