Promotion and Tenure workshops scheduled for:
September 13 Thursday 12:15-1:30 President’s Conference ROOM in Gander Hall.
September 14 Friday 12:15-1:30 President’s Conference ROOM in Gander Hall.
The content will be the same on both days. Please bring your Promotion and Tenure Guides with you. The workshop is primarily for first, second and third year faculty as well as faculty entering into their sixth (tenure) year. Others, of course, are more than welcome.
USA TODAY's Campus Coverage News Digest
On Wednesday, Sept. 19 and again on Tuesday, Sept. 25, Bob Duffy from USA Today will be on campus to talk with faculty about using USA Today (and the Post-Dispatch) in classes. The meetings will be in Donius 107 (Sept. 19) and Donius 108 (September 25) from 12:15-1:15 and lunch and drinks will be provided. Newspapers and curriculum ideas for using the papers will be discussed. If you are interested, please let me know (email or phone-x9469) by Sept. 16 as I need to order the lunches. We do hope that many of you will be interested in obtaining more information about what you can do to engage your students with the papers throughout the year.
